Water Mission to Egypt 2023

Due to the current events taking place in the Middle East, the water mission to Egypt has been postponed

Water is an essential part of our life from growing food, maintaining a healthy lifestyle to creating jobs. However, with climate change developing at an alarming rate, water is taking a significant effect which makes global climate adaptation more important than ever to cope with these changes.

The Chamber in partnership with the Department of Business & Trade (DBT) & British Waters are organising a three day business mission to Egypt to discuss the opportunities available in the water sector based on the memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed between the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities (MOHUU) & British Water. There will also be an overview from DBT on future collaboration with Africa and the opportunities available.

This three day mission will include meetings with the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities, Ministry of irrigation & water resources, attendance of the Cairo Water Week, B2B meetings & many networking opportunities. There will also be an overview from DBT Africa on future collaboration and the opportunities available in various African countries.
